Dr. Amy Magnafichi Strong is a passionate educator, intellectual freedom advocate, and communications consultant with over 20 years of experience dedicated to empowering educators, students, business professionals and their teams. With a master’s degree in English and a doctorate in Educational Leadership and Organization Innovation, Amy specializes in promoting culturally responsive practices in both academic and professional settings, social justice, and equity in education.

Her teaching career spans high school English Language Arts, college composition, and secondary English education. Beyond the classroom, Amy has served as an English Department Chairperson, led professional development opportunities at national, state, and local events, and held leadership roles, including President of the Illinois Association of Teachers of English. She has also worked with the National Council of Teachers of English and presented at numerous educational conferences nationwide.

As a first-generation college graduate, Amy is deeply committed to ensuring that all students can leverage their unique strengths and backgrounds to achieve their goals. Her consulting business extends her mission by helping educators and business professionals enhance communication skills, build strong teams, and foster inclusive environments.
